Our Story

Moonrise Minis began with a very real, very relatable parenting problem: I couldn’t find a single nap mat that checked all the boxes. Everything on the market seemed to be made with synthetic materials, lacked durability, or just didn’t feel like something I wanted my child sleeping on every day. I wanted better—not only for my own child, but for other families searching for the same thing.

So I decided to create it.

What started as a personal project quickly grew into something more. I began researching natural materials, learning about textile safety standards, and reimagining what a nap mat could be—something soft but supportive, simple yet beautiful, made to last through years of naps, play, school, and everything in between. That’s how Moonrise Minis was born: out of a desire to make something better, more thoughtful, and more aligned with the values so many of us hold as parents.

At Moonrise Minis, we believe rest is sacred—especially for growing children. That’s why our nap mats are intentionally designed using high-quality, natural materials that are gentle on sensitive skin. Every stitch, strap, and seam is crafted with care and purpose.
